A
Holiday of Cultural Enrichment, Business & Pleasure
Autumn
2008
4th Annual Trip To Gambia
CULTURE
Once again we are going home to Africa on a pilgrimage to
commemorate the journey of our Ancestors endured that enabled us to
survive. We will be travelling to Goree Island in Senegal, where many of our Ancestors said 'goodbye' to Mother Africa at 'The Door
Of No Return.'
Gammission aims
to bring 1000 people this year.
PLEASURE
There will also
be an opportunity to relax as well as take in the rich culture of
the beautiful sub-tropical West African Coast. There are daytime
activities, Beach 5-A-Side football, volleyball, table tennis,
Chess, Ludo, tennis, darts, African Yoga, Socarobics and more for the active
traveller. Evening entertainment will include, local musicians,
cabaret entertainment courtesy of the UK's finest stand up comedians,
themed parties hosted by the cream of London's club & radio DJs.
In support
of this initiative to reunite native Africans with their
distant descendants
in the U.K.,
to promote African culture
and to
contribute to the growth and development of The
Gambia, Akeba will
be holding presentation evenings
where you will have an opportunity to meet the Gammission Team in person and secure your place with a
£99 deposit on the day if you wish to make this
once in a lifetime offer.

ECOWAS
This was
established in 1975 to promote economic, social and cultural
activities to raise the standard of living of the people of
the member states. It has 15 member states: Benin, Burkina
Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Cote
d'Ivoire, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra
Leone and Togo.
There are many
goods and services available within The Gambia that will be
of interest to UK business people. Conversely there
are also many Gambian companies looking for suppliers from
the UK in order to obtain goods for domestic consumption as
well as for export throughout the ECOWAS region.
During the trip
we will engage in networking opportunities where UK and West
African business people will be able to meet and explore
potential business opportunities.
